Forza Horizon 5 keeps up the tradition by giving players a variety of cars to find in hidden barns around the huge map of Mexico. Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds Explained
Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds are secret locations on the Mexico map that house hidden cars. These were in previous Forza Horizon games, and they're back in Playground Games' latest open-world racing game. You don't have to find these cars hidden in barns, but if you tackle these totally optional challenges, you'll get some awesome cars for free.
When you start playing Forza Horizon 5, you will not be able to interact with any of the barns highlighted on the map below. To really "find" them, you must first progress through the game's story until you hear rumors of secret barns from one of the festival organizers.
Once you hear a rumor about a barn being seen in the world, you may see a vague location on your map with a house icon and a question mark in a purple circle. You can then use the map below to locate the exact barn quest locations and drive directly there.
Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds – All Locations
Here's a map showing all 14 hidden barns in Forza Horizon 5. We've numbered them to match the details below, but you can unlock them in any order. It's worth noting that numbers 3, 11, and 14 on this map aren't accessible to you unless you complete optional achievements in Expeditions, which we've detailed below. These are really easy to complete as the tasks only take a few minutes each.

This barn will earn you a Ferrari F40 Competizione.

This barn will provide you with a Dodge Viper GTS VCR.
Forza Horizon 5 Barn Find 3 cars and location
This barn will earn you a GMC Jimmy. Note that this barn is unlocked by completing an award in Apex Expedition; details below.

This barn will net you a Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock.

How To Unlock Last Barn Finds In Forza Horizon 5 - Why Is A Barn Missing From The Treasure Map?
Even if you pay to buy the treasure map in Forza Horizon 5, some barn finds won't be marked on the map, and if you drive to them, you won't be able to interact with them. Fortunately, these tasks are very simple.
Barn Find 3 to get the GMC Jimmy requires you to take on the Apex Expedition. Once you get to the ruins, you'll need to go up to the top of the central ruins (that's exactly what it sounds like) and then unlock the barn so you can interact with it and get the car.
Barn Find 11 requires you to play Baja Expedition. Once inside the dormant volcano you just have to drive through the small pool of water which will then unlock the barn and allow you to claim the Ford Racing Escort.
The fourteenth shed find gives you the Jaguar Sport XJR-15 and is located in the southwest of the map, just outside the airfield.
In order to actually access this barn, you must first tackle the Wilds Expedition. Once you arrive at the Jungle Airport, you'll need to tackle a few optional achievements, one of which (Discover the Lost Barn Quest Notes) will unlock the final barn location. There is a chest in an aircraft hangar that is fairly easy to find.
How to access the cars found in the barns in Forza Horizon 5
After the euphoria of finding a barn and seeing what car is inside, you are somewhat surprised: the car is still unusable. After the sequence with the downed vehicle ends, you will be informed that the car is being worked on. This makes sense since the cars are in very good condition when you find them.
After a period of time, you will receive a message that the car is ready to use. Go to any of the unlocked houses on your map and you'll see a barn search option that will show you all the cars you've unlocked that way.
If you don't want to wait for your barn car to be fixed, you have the option to speed it up by paying a certain amount of in-game credits. This amount varies from car to car. I've been happy to wait, but if you really want to use this new find and are fairly brief, there's nothing wrong with speeding up the process.
How do barn search gift cars work in Forza Horizon 5?
Once you've found a barn and taken the car to add to your collection, that barn will be available for you to place one of your own cars. This car is then offered as a gift to someone in the Horizon 5 game world if they go to the barn after having taken the original abandoned car.
If you have junk cars this is a great way to share some love in the game and there are options to limit who can find it and you can even leave a nice finder message.
